Keep in it an open, easy to reach area \u2013 and ensure that\nit\u2019s still working and within its expiration date!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.\nAutomated controls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Automated\ncontrols help you to protect your home during an emergency, even when you\u2019re\nnot there in person. If your smoke alarm activates, for example, an automatic\ncontrol system can immediately turn off the main gas supply. This will decrease\nthe fuel for a fire and minimise its spread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
